When is a good deal not a good deal? When they appear too good to be true!

Putting a price on products may not always appear as simple as it may seem. Some products that look and appear similar may well be vastly different in cost, efficacy and value for money.

We recently found this experience with one of our own products. Our Multiva Calming product may well appear extremely expensive compared to some of our competitor brands. For instance, the large breed version of Multiva calming has a retail price of £16.52. Against one competitor selling a calming product at just £3.84 in a retail outlet this would appear highly expensive.
That is, until you look into the detail for the same size dog. The competitor product states the number of chews given per day for a 20kg dog amount to some 20 to 30 chews a day giving just two to three days use!
Therefore the daily cost of the competitor came to roughly £1.28 - £1.90 whilst Multiva Calming for a 20Kg dog cost just £0.67 pence per day.
So beware, all that appears the same may not be. So our, advice read the label and compare before you reject a higher priced product as in the end it could cost you more than you think!
